THE HAT THING

the driver behind me did find his car's breaks eventually and didn't crash mine, also I managed to fix my car's left mirror with the shewing-gum, I did consider my car troubles over for today. Since I decided I've saved some money, I got carried away by fashion- shopping. Almost forgotten how exiting this could be!
So - I'm blogging fashion today wink emoticon
Hat from H&M, love the shape! It's so me. Also love the air and space between my brain and my new summer hat.
Couldn't resist the H&M suede tote bag also, it's so ... blue!

There are some rare and fragile moments, when I feel like old me again -  I mean the Jana before I became responsible bothered mom. I'm out of emotional and reckless choices now. Almost all the time. Can't have everything at the same time, but that's ok. So, as they say: "Sometimes you make choices and sometimes choices make you".:-)

Kevadised tunded-mõtted

Endiselt monokroomse tonaalsuse fännina tooksin kevadeks sisse uue tooni - sinise. N-ö soojad pildid (pean silmas mütside-kampsunitega) mõjuvad praegu kuidagi lämmatavalt, palavalt. Mantli alla sobib lihtne, hästi-istuv T-särk.

Materjaliks on endiselt vill, 100% pure.

Villased pulloverid saab vahetada T-särkide vastu: katsetasin paari ideed.  Siin pildil on n-ö sõnumiga särgid, mõeldud väikestele asjalikele karakteriga tüüpidele, kel on oma arvamus. ;-)

Interior design and decoration

My new mid century modern style kitchen. Favourite style comes from my childhood.

This shelf comes from my grandparents home. It lived it's life literally very close to me in the same room my first 5 years. I remember the rooster vine mug exactly on the same place.
I  re-designed the drawers myself and painted with blackboard paint.

Bathroom-furniture (plywood)  designed by me,  wooden stepladder is renovated and turned to shelf by me also.

also something for grown-ups

Jumpsuit, backless ...  what an inspiring textile! I like suits, but not tratitional ones. Even if it's a traditional suit, you cant wear it that way. Have to have something tricky in it.

Fascinated by little J

anyway, he's not so little anymore, so ...

it was really about time I put my vision to action. As I mentioned, my son is my inspiration and driving force.
When he was about 3 years old, I struggled to find him a turtleneck sweater that I thought was stylish enough. In addition, I imagined him wearing a charming little wool coat and a warm ushanka. I managed to pull the set together one by one—adjusted and played with some of the items and voila, there we have it, a cool little fellow with a slightly retro style.

väikemees by stilist-emme ;-)

I loved the outcome and started thinking: this style is something that I am really charmed by and I am sure there are those who share my vision. I simply had to pursue my idea.
There was an old photo of me and my great grandmother that added fuel to the fire—my great grandmother Anna had tied my scarf like this:

Vanavanaema Anna on mulle pähe sidunud rätiku sellisel moel:

vaevalt minu tollal 21-aastane emme rätti sel moel sidunud oleks

And this is my modern day interpretation:
Minu kaasaegne interpretatsioon on järgmine:

This is a checkered set that I designed a year ago and the hat has a matching 70s vibe—I would know, I was a kid back then! The fur sleeve inspiration comes from a photo of my dad when he was a 1-year old, hands deep in the warm and fluffy sleeve.
I captured these tender and nostalgic visions from the past and added a touch of the current and hip “oversized” feel to define the character of my collection. I mix 70s style, a handful of memories and the latest in fashion to deliver eclectic style specifically for the little ones. Little fashionistas with oversized coats—no ruffles and flowers, nothing pink, nothing... cutesy.

I have designed my coats with a practical touch and thought through the details to address the needs of my little fashionistas: it is not just about style, clothes need to be functional and comfortable. As a rule, I use quality 100% wool lined with cotton. Speaking of quality—I take it as a given—all of the coats are handmade and unique.
I am attracted to a range of deep greys, checks and stripes and all of their combinations. I believe my little customers will balance the monochromatic shapes with their colourful personalities. I value balance above all. Let’s add a few bright accessories and create new combinations to reflect the mood of the day.
I was challenged to find the right trousers-skirts-sweaters to match my wool coats so for my first collection, I have also designed most of these outfits. No matter how chic the overcoat—it is the head to toe style that matters. This is the most exciting—a game with fashion!

Reeglina kasutan täisvillast kangast, vooder on enamjaolt puuvillane.

See on kõige põnevam - mäng moega.

Usun, et need fotod annavad edasi just täpselt õige meeleolu.
Novembrikuu esimesest nädalast saab minu näidiskollektsioon olema esindatud Foorumi keskuses kaupluses nimega "The Children's Room".
